Boeing 777-200ER of Austrian Airlines will be stored in Spain

The Boeing 777-200ER, OE-LPD, from Austrian Airlines will be stored for 12 months in Teruel, Spain.

According to Australian Airlines: “Yesterday we flew our OE-LPD, Boeing 777-200ER, to Teruel, Spain. It's planned to be stored there for the coming 12 months. We are looking forward to reactivating our "Spirit of Austria" after its hibernation!”

Teruel is the destination for many European planes that are either deactivated or will be stored for some time. Inaugurated in 2013 in Spain, the maintenance center has already received about 90 aircraft to be stored, including A380 and 747 jets.
